This policy explains how Dims Customs handles information through dims-customs.com, including its booking form and the Dims Customs Website Mail connection used to deliver website messages.
Information you provide
When you submit a booking request, we receive your first and last name, email address, selected service, requested date and time, and any notes you choose to provide. Please do not include payment-card details, passwords, or other sensitive information in the form.
How we use information
We use booking and contact information to respond to inquiries, discuss services, arrange appointments, and maintain related business communications. A form submission is a request; contact us to confirm appointment availability.
Website operation and service providers
Our website uses WordPress and GoDaddy hosting. Hosting, security, and website statistics tools may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser information, pages requested, and access times to operate, protect, and understand use of the website. Cookies or similar technologies may support website functions. You can manage cookies through your browser settings; blocking them may affect some features.
Booking messages are delivered through our email service providers, including Google Gmail through WP Mail SMTP. Form information and email content are processed by these providers as needed to deliver and store messages. Authorized people handling Dims Customs inquiries may access those messages. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or necessary to protect our services and legal rights.
Google account connection
Dims Customs Website Mail connects a business-controlled Gmail account to WordPress to send website notifications. Visitors do not need to connect their own Google accounts. The connection stores authorization tokens and processes sender and recipient addresses and message content for email delivery. Google may display permissions broader than sending; the website mail connection is used for sending notifications, not for browsing visitors’ inboxes.
Information obtained through Google APIs is used only to provide and support this email-delivery function. It is not sold, used for personalized advertising, or used to train general-purpose artificial intelligence models. Dims Customs Website Mail’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
The business account owner can revoke this connection through their Google Account permissions. Revocation stops the connection’s access but does not automatically remove messages already delivered or business records already retained.
Retention and your requests
Booking messages and related records are retained as needed to handle inquiries, provide services, and meet applicable recordkeeping or legal needs. Copies may remain in email systems and backups until removed through their normal retention processes. Contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of information you have provided. We may need to verify your request, and some records may need to be retained for legal or legitimate business reasons.
Security and other websites
We use access controls and service-provider security features to help protect information. No website or email system can guarantee absolute security. Links to other websites are governed by those websites’ own privacy policies.
